Hosted by the Semaphore Port Adelaide RSL 29th October2015, History SA/Veteran SA’s joint traveling exhibition Gallantry tells the moving stories of the brave actions of five South Australians awarded the Victoria Cross and George Cross in the Second World War and the Vietnam War.
The Faces of Fort Largs Photo Exhibition contains many rare historical photos from the archives of the Army Museum of South Australia, the SA Police Historical Society, and the Australian War memorial. It documents some of the highlights of fort activities over more than a century, and is sponsored by National Trust of South Australia's Heritage Watch campaign.

In commemorative ceremonies it is usual for a speaker to recite a prayer or a reading or a poem as a request for the eventual safety and the eternal peace of those who died in war. The reading of a poem helps the audience to understand the wartime experiences of service men and women. The following hymns, prayers and poems are traditionally used in commemorative ceremonies.
