Sister Doris Agatha Barry, a Nurse from Semaphore, South Australia, prior to enlistment 29 December 1916 aged 26, she embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A32 Themistocles on 29 December 1916. She served with the Australian Army Nursing Service.
Sapper Samuel Macilwain 9651, a Carpenter from Port Adelaide, South Australia, prior to enlistment 18 February 1916, he embarked with the 11th Field Company Engineers, Section 2 from Adelaide, South Australia, on board HMAT A29 Suevic on 31 May 1916.
Lieutenant-Colonel Lionel Oxborrow Betts OBE a Medical practitioner from Semaphore served with the 13th Australian Field Ambulance A.A.M.C. on the Western Front (France), Nord Region, Lys Area (France) and Bailleul. His Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board Transport A10 Karroo on 11 February 1915. Lieutenant-Colonel Betts was Awarded an OBE and received a Mention in Despatches. Lieutenant-Colonel Betts was the first President of the Semaphore & Port Adelaide RSL.
Private William John Martin 774, a Labourer from Hall Street, Semaphore, South Australia, prior to enlistment 11 October 1915 aged 50, he embarked with the Australian Remount Unit 1, Squadron 3 from Melbourne, Victoria, on board Transport A67 Orsova on 12 November 1915.

Private Vere Walter Thomas Barlow 5035, a Painter from Semaphore, South Australia, prior to enlistment 15 November 1915 aged 24, he embarked with the10th Battalion, 16th Reinforcement from Adelaide, South Australia, on board HMAT A9 Shropshire on 25 March 1916. He served with the Australian Army Medical Corps.
