Captain Ross Macpherson Smith was born in Semaphore, SA 1892. A Warehouseman prior to enlistment on 19th August 1914 and embarked from Outer Harbour, SA with the 3rd Light Horse Regiment, B Squadron on board HMAT A17 Port Lincoln on 22 October 1914. He was Returned to Australia 23 March 1920.

Gunner Leslie Campbell McGregor, was a Tailor from Largs Bay, SA prior to enlistment on 22 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, with his unit Divisional Ammunition Column 2, Reinforcement 1, on board HMAT A34 Persic on 22 November 1915. He was Returned to Australia 31 March 1917.
Private Sidney George Whaite a Butcher from Semaphore served with the 27th Battalion, 13th Reinforcements AIF. His Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on the 27th of June 1916, on board Transport A37 HMAT Barambah.
