CARTER, Reginald Thomas Clement

Reginald Thomas Clement Carter

Reginald Thomas Clement Carter, born 19th of April 1895 at Exeter, son of Thomas Bacon Carter and Rosetta Caroline Heritage.

He married Minnie Emily Martin, daughter of William John Martin and Mary Jane Spain at Water St. Semaphore on 7th November 1914. They had four Daughters and one son Thomas Reginald Carter R.A.N. born at Semaphore. They Lived in Yeo St, Wellington St and Robin Rd.

During the First World War Reginald Carter served at Fort Glanville and Fort Largs in the Navy Reserve Signal Corps. At this time at this time his Father in-law William John Martin was serving in Eygpt in the First Australian Remount Unit - 3rd Squadron and his Brother in-law Hubert Charles Sansom was in the A.I.F. serving in France.

Reginald Carter died 5th December 1969 and was buried at Centennial Park with a Military Funeral
