Looking for a hall to hire In the Semaphore and Port Adelaide Area? Then Look no further than the spacious Semaphore & Port Adelaide RSL‘s Thomas Currie “Diver” Derrick Memorial Hall. Our club facilities offer a safe environment within our character club rooms, professional kitchen and bar facilities, ballroom style Jarrah dance floor and large windows that offer fabulous views of Semaphore Jetty and Foreshore. We also have Security guards and an array of entertainers available for hire if required.
The Thomas Currie “Diver” Derrick Memorial Hall in our club rooms, is one of the largest hall’s for Hire in the Semaphore Area with a capacity to cater for up to 150 of your guests.
Our hire fees and catering prices are the most reasonable and affordable in the Semaphore / Port Adelaide region and by hiring our hall for your next event you also helping the Semaphore Port Adelaide RSL continue to provide better facilities and services for the community.

Catering
Can you cater for dietary requirements ?
Yes, we can try and cater for any special dietary requirements and food allergies. Semaphore & Port Adelaide RSL recommends guest invitations to be printed with ‘food allergy and dietary requirements to be advised with acceptance’. Management cannot guarantee traces of allergy items not present.
Can we have external caterers in the Hall?
No, we do not allow outside food to be brought into the Hall.
Can you cater for my suppliers (ie: DJ, Photographer, Videographer)?
Your suppliers are considered your guests and should be included in your Final Confirmation of Guests.
Beverages
A large selection of Beer, Wines and Spirits are available at the bar.

Facilities
Do you provide highchairs?
Yes, please inform our Functions Co-Ordinator should you require any.
What time do we have the Hall until?
All Functions must finish at 12 midnight unless we arrange before hand for an extended licence. Please see your Functions Co-Ordinator.
Does your Hall for Hire have a view of the sea?
Yes, our Hall has beautiful views overlooking Semaphore Beach and Jetty.
Do you setup the Hall with my decorations or can I set them up myself before the Function?
You are more than welcome to decorate the Hall, however please note that nothing is to be nailed, screwed, stapled or adhered to any wall, door or other surface of the venue. Please check with our Hall Hire Manager as to when the hall will be available for decorating and when any decorations left at the hall after a function must be collected.
