Corporal Bror Wiggo Bernard Eneberg, a Labourer from Walker Street, Birkenhead, Port Adelaide, South Australia, prior to enlistment 5June 1915, he embarked with the 32nd Battalion, B Company from Adelaide, South Australia, on board HMAT A2 Geelong on 18 November 1915.
George Fletcher from Semaphore was one of the first from the Port Adelaide area to enlist during World War 1 – at Morphettville Camp on 16 September 1914. He was a stockman, and a Boer War veteran, married to Elsie and aged 44 when he applied to enlist, but he dropped his age by four years to increase his chance of being accepted. He embarked with Headquarters 9th Light Horse Regiment AIF on 11 February 1915, as their Farrier Quartermaster-Sergeant, and served with the Egyptian Expeditionary Force and later the ANZAC Mounted Division in the defence of the Suez Canal, in southern Palestine and in the Jordan Valley. George returned to Australia in December 1918 with the rank of Warrant Officer Class II. His son Barney served in the same regiment: he died in Palestine in July 1918, aged 22, and was buried in the Jerusalem War Cemetery.

Private Murdo Macleod a Sailor prior to enlistment 23th Novembert 1914, he embarked with the 12th Battalion, 2nd Reinforcement from Adelaide, South Australia, on board HMAT A50 Itonus on 15 February 1915.
Private Frederick William Thompson 2046 a Seaman from Wells Street, Birkenhead, South Australia prior to enlistment 4th August 1915, he embarked with the 50th Battalion, 3rd Reinforcement from Adelaide, South Australia, on board HMAT A48 Seang Bee on 13 July 1916.
(Lieut) Thomas Percival HaganLieutenant Thomas Percival Hagan, a Soldier from Woolnough Road, Exeter, South Australia , prior to enlistment 8th August 1914, he embarked with the 32nd Battalion, B Company from Adelaide, South Australia, on board HMAT A2 Geelong on 18 November 1915.
Boy First Class Ronald Rothsay Wright from Semaphore, South Australia. He enlisted on 25 January 1915 at the age of 14 and served aboard HMAT Sydney from 14 January 1916.
